ADMISSION PROCEDURE:

Students who wish to apply for MBA Programme in Karunya University should have minimum of an undergraduate degree in any recognized University. Preference will be given to those who have experience and have scored more than 60% in their qualifying exam. It is mandatory that applicants should have appeared for a written test conducted by Karunya University (or) in any one of the national level entrance examinations (CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT).

Eligible candidates will be called for attending Group discussion and interview at Karunya University Campus, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India. Provisional admission will be given based on the total marks scored by the candidate out of 100 (UG Marks – 50, Online test/Common entrance test marks – 25, GD & Interview marks – 25). The admission will be confirmed after receiving the final marks statement / degree certificate as per the eligibility norms of the University.

• Dr.N.Rajagopal, Associate Professor in KSBLM has received a research project  grant of Rs.4,79,450  from ICSSR, New Delhi for his project entitled “Performance and its socio-economic impact of Thrift and Credit Machanism of Neighbourhood Groups(NHGs) of Kudumbasree: A Comparative Study between Beneficiaries of Tribals and Non-Tribals in the District of Palakkad, Kerala.”

The Karunya Institute of Technology was started as a private self-financing engineering college on 4 October 1986. The Making of a University

 

Late Dr. D.G.S. Dhinakaran, God’s servant received the divine commission to start a Technical University which could turn out outstanding engineers with leadership qualities at the national and global level. Building up such a great Institution was no easy task. The Dhinakarans had to face innumerable trials and tribulations including the tragic death of their dear daughter during the course of this great endeavor. But nothing could stop them from reaching the goal.

The Karunya School of Management (KSM) was established in 1995 with the objective to deliver high quality management education.  Over the past one and half decade Karunya School of Management as grown from a humble start and has attained the 52nd rank among the Southern Region B-Schools according to the Business Outlook rating September 2009. Karunya School of Managementhas managed to implement numerous project for students, established trimester pattern for effective learning, and gained recognition as the premier B-School for  imparting management education in South India.

Karunya School of Management commits itself to continue encouraging and, where possible, facilitating and enabling its students to take a leading role in developing the Nations economies. This will be done by setting standards for ourselves to produce graduates who will be internationally competitive, who will be problem solvers and who will be responsive to the managerial and economic problems facing our country.
